For the modern woman, Halloween can be a nightmare filled with pressure and stereotypical situations that are almost unavoidable, but there are ways to put together a great costume with some beautiful costume jewelry and custom fabric that won’t compromise any morals that you may have against the costumes they are selling in stores. The stereotypes of Halloween have run rampant for much too long and it is actually damaging the culture of our country. Almost every woman feels pressured to wear an inappropriate costume these days. This year, find something better to wear.

It is hard to avoid looking at all the skin during Halloween almost anywhere in the United States, but it doesn’t mean that you have to dress like a nurse that’s lost most of her uniform. Making your own costume and being creative without showing off your entire body is an option that most women don’t have time for, but why not try it this year. It can be cheaper than buying a bad costume last minute and it might be a fun project. You may even end up with something you are proud of. Using some cubic zirconia and some gold and purple fabric could easily turn into a stunning Cleopatra. Not everyone has to be Cat Woman.
