I am so excited because some of my family members will be visiting me soon. They live abroad and do not get to come over and see me that often. I cannot travel and so I never get to see them any more. So it is fantastic that they will be coming to see me. Their children were quite young the last time they came over and they are all at school now. I have decided to arrange some wonderful treats for them while they are staying with me. I will have plenty of things for the children to snack on like Turkish pistachios and dried fruits as well as fresh fruit. I will also bake lots of lovely biscuits and cakes for them as they say they miss my baking. I will get some pistachio paste and make some of their favourites as well as a few new things. I hope that they will be able to take some recipes home with them as now the girls are at school, they will be old enough to do some baking themselves. I will certainly do some with them while they are here and hopefully they will enjoy it so much that they will want to do it at home, too.
