History of REITs:
Originated the concept of REITs in the U.S. These products have grown in popularity over time, as were returns generated by these funds much better than that of other forms of investment such as links, the government projected that the savings and the like. Now, these products will soon be available in India with SEBI, which takes the first steps to allow mutual funds set such funds.

Operation of a Reit:
A typical investment company real estate will be structured as a mutual fund. Gather resources of investors and invest in various forms of real estate such as shopping complexes, the area of housing, land bank and so on. It is also possible that such funds will have income from property owned by them. Will not be allowed to invest in securities of equity and debt real estate, to invest only in real estate directly. The income generated from these investments will be distributed among several investors who buy these funds or unit trusts. These are essentially profit-income instruments which capital increases. These funds must also state that their values of net gain on a daily basis and the response units are mandatory and negotiated in the stock exchange.

Benefits of Investing in REITs:
The advantage of real estate investment is long term appreciation, which can negate the ill effects of inflation on their incomes. In fact, research has shown that after the action, generating real estate returns and sustainable long-term real rates. It is even better than gold, and of course, on how the loops generated by the debt instruments and similar tools of investment. The stability is also assured of turns as the real estate market is less volatile than the stock market. Thus, even those who do not have the nerve to see their investment turned up and down on a daily basis can invest in these funds.

REITs is a long-term investment bet:
Real estate investment requires patience and a time horizon longer turn decent. This is because it takes time to buy a property is developed, it ready to generate income for rent or resale, handles, etc.. therefore, it may take a longer time for the start fund that generates income for you. However, the wait is worth every effort as you will be sitting in a good list at the end of the day.
