I am always buying birthday gifts these days. I find it hard to know what to buy when it comes to certain people. When the children have a party to go to then it is easy to think of birthday gifts ideas for their friends as children like everything or if they are not into anything I tend to get them books as I know that most parents like getting those as they can read them to them at bedtime. It tends to be the adults that I have the most trouble buying for. There are gift shops and things like this but I am always aware that these sorts of things are not that good and they are never that useful and I prefer to give things which are useful. I guess it is because I do not like clutter and so I do not like having things about which are not necessary. I therefore assume other people are the same, which they are probably are not. I do find that the hardest thing is buying for men especially getting birthday gifts for boyfriends. I think it is because men do not seem to have so many hobbies as women or perhaps they are more expensive ones such as cars or electronics. Maybe it is because I am a woman and I find it easier to choose things for women as I just think about what I might like
